Riverstone Resources, Ltd. was formed by Keith Jackson in 2002 to expand his presence in the oil and gas business. We are a Frisco, Texas based company that partners with many independent and public companies for the purpose of oil and gas exploration. These strategic partnerships provide us with a unique advantage of participating with proven successful companies while keeping our cost and overhead to a minimum, resulting in better terms for our clients.
Mr. Jackson formed Landmark Venture Group, Inc. in 1996 to operate several wells in Louisiana. Riverstone Resources, Ltd. was formed with the vision of focusing more on funding rather than operating wells. Landmark and the wells it operated in Louisiana were sold in 2008 to an investment group.
Riverstone’s main focus currently is participating in areas that are utilizing horizontal drilling combined with the relatively new multi-stage frac stimulations. The two focus areas are in the SE Texas Woodbine Formation and North Dakota’s Bakken Shale formation.
